About Us
Hugh Sarjeant
DWDV President
I have had no personal experience with bad deaths, via a family member or friend.
My interest in the topic arises only from my opinion that we should have the right to better control over our end of life. Consistent with assumption that the individual should decide such matters, so long as the community is not adversely affected.
Working with DWDV since 2014 to influence the political outcome has been both stimulating and rewarding. Following the passage of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2017, our task is now to seek to provide additional information services, and to ensure there is no erosion of rights.
My working life includes experience as a company director, consulting actuary, and computer programmer.
