An inspiring and uplifting story about ‘Rosehaven’ Hospice, a five-bedroom home set amongst 4.5 acres of beautiful gardens in Mansfield, country Victoria. Rosehaven offers support to individuals and their loved ones as they traverse the Voluntary Assisted Dying process.
Bianca Hurle, Manager of Rosehaven, was inspired to develop this program after hearing about people accessing VAD with little or no support from family and friends – and in some instances individuals unable to find VAD supportive places to accommodate their needs at the time of death.
The VAD program at Rosehaven is run by an incredible group of 17 trained and dedicated VAD volunteers.
