Congratulations to all on getting this progressive bill through, especially to the indefatigable Tara Cheyne MLA.

A progressive and greatly envied VAD bill that is set to come into effect in November 2025.

Access to VAD in the territory will be limited to adults with a condition that is advanced, progressive and expected to cause death and those who are approaching the end of their life.
